Occupational Therapists

Lacey graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, with a Bachelor
of Science in Speech Pathology in 1977 and from the University of North
Texas, Denton, with a Master of Science in Communication Disorders in
1979. She has been a Speech Language Pathologist in Dallas ISD, Spring
Branch ISD, Cypress Fairbanks ISD, Tyler ISD, and Frisco ISD. In the school
districts besides conducting therapy, assessments, and ARD meetings, she
was a supervisor, Assistant Lead SLP in SBISD and served on the Autism
Team, participated in the Preschool Assessment Team in Tyler ISD, and
was SLP Lead at the Frisco Early Childhood School. She was part owner
of the private practice, Memorial Speech, Language, and Learning in Houston
and was a supervisor and therapist for Park Cities Speech, Language, and
Learning Center in Dallas. Lacey has two grown daughters and one son-in-law and with her husband has
another grown daughter, son, and future daughter-in-law. The family has
3 German Shepherd mix adopted dogs, with Max living with Lacey and her
husband. Her leisure activities include bike riding with her husband,
swimming, needlepoint, and family activities.
